Day 2 Update
The two teams gathered on the morning of the second Test. After it had been revealed that a rebel faction was intent on destroying them all, and in the process the glory of the Ashes and Australia and England themselves, they must work together off the field to hunt down the traitors. As head honcho's Clarke and Cook discussed who within their camps they felt had been acting out of place, a few players took the chance for an impromptu practice session and a brief chat about who they should knock off.
Graeme Swann began to bowl some balls to Glenn Maxwell, and the sight was hilarious. With each ball, Maxwell would swing the bat with less skill with Glenn McGrath and show off his trademark elephant-like footwork, misjudging the spin each time. This show of absolute cricketing ineptitude brought about a lighter mood for a moment, until CRACK, one of The Big Show's wild hacks connected. He sent Swann soaring out of the practice nets, the shot didn't look real good but it had the power and placement that Bradman would have been proud of.
Every player present was absolutely awestruck. They had almost decided who was going to be the first they got rid of, but this display made them forget completely. They soon re-gathered themselves and prepared to discuss the lynch once more, but it seems the former leader would be safe.
Day 2 continues. Because of this abberation, it will continue until 9pm.
