The clubs constantly change the jerseys. This year Wenty are predominantly black and Ourimbah are mainly white whereas last year they were both the reverse. The Sydney Bulls also had a mainly white jersey before this year, so when they played Wenty the away side would wear an alternative strip - red (Bulls) & Parramatta (Wenty)
Asquith moved a step closer to the Parramatta Cup when they defeated Wenty 40-24 in the major semi final. The white magpies were on fire, scoring from the first set and racing to a 24-6 lead. Wenty regained their composure and levelled by half time. There was a stalemate in the first 20 minutes of the second half during which time Wenty had a disallowed try and a penalty goal attempt hitting the upright. Asquith applied the accelerator and crossed for another 3 times, two of which featured the feak like stepping of Ngawini.
Asquith have a quality combination with Poka, in what appears to be a red Waikato Chiefs headgear leading the way in the forwards.
