I can sometimes almost do this, but as I start to drift slightly out of my consious body, I freak out and I can't do it again for ages, has anyone else here got experience in this that can help me?
(I know its peculiar, but you do say go ahead and ask anything.)

There seems to be a tiny window that allows people to be conscious whilst they are dreaming, I do it all of the time and it is the freakiest thing going.

I don’t think it is astral projection, more over it is the mind being unleashed and your conscious self goes along for the ride.

I have seen things that defy any description, things that dont fit into the real world.

I can see how some non-scientific folk would go for the supernatural explanations, it is rather strange.

Anyway, if i was to astral project i would like to visit a girls locker room.

Go the Knights!!!

If I could Astral travel, yeah the girls locker room would be on my list, also anywhere there are terrorists planning attacks on us, seriously though, my work is extremely physically hard, which I enjoy, but the effect of this is almost instant sleep soon as I lay down, this girl I was talking too said a few weeks ago that when she answered something I said , she told me the next day I was already snoring!
What I'm saying is during the night when I am by myself I am sometimes strangely awakened by the sound of snoring next to me or sometimes even further away, its as if I am listening to another person, but its me, I think my body gets so weary that my mind is trying to escape from it and go somewhere else.
This is probably that tiny window of consieusness you referred to Pando, I seem to be hitting this window sometimes nightly, its bizare hearing your self from an outside perspective isnt it?
Sort of like seeing your reflection and for a second not recognising it as yourself, because you were'nt aware of a mirror being in the direction you were looking.
Sometimes I practice relaxation with Chakra techniques on my day off at night, but I have'nt fully worked out a few steps with it, I'm confident I will be able to Astral travel in a few years time, hopefully even sooner!:D

From the Matrix:

Neo: You ever have that feeling where you're not sure if you're awake or still dreaming?
Anthony: All the time. It's called mescaline. It's the only way to fly
.

You don't take a lot of drugs do you?

You need to expand your mind a little bit sometimes. .
and drugs have never done it for me, people who think drugs are some kind of doorway to an expanded and more open mind, are sadly deluding themselves, if anything continual use of drugs closes the mind to what is reality, sorry if I'm getting a little over your head here..

Termy feels very strongly about the issue of drugs ;-) which he has every practical reason to. My best friend has just tried cocaine  , I'm totally freaked out for her, her boyfriend got it for her and I raged at him. Just thought I'd add that. :)

Hey how you going Sykoticjem, welcome to the basement, there are some OK people on here and some absolute turds, I'll let you be the judge of who's who, 4 corners is basically a daily tribute to Islamic terrorists by left wing nutters, Firkin Funny is good.
Give your friend a slap in the face and tell her to wake up to herself.

I wish, I'm going to be in Newcastle this weekend, come back late Sat night. Already said I'd go my friend's 21st, I guess that's more important, but still.....I'm pretty upset I'll miss it. Hopefully they'll make it though so I can go to the next game.

Yes, wild horses couldnt drag me away from this one, I live about 4 blocks from the ground too, I'm feeling incredibly positive :D about the outcome, the Knights are a lot better without Joey this year than last time.
Have a good time at the party, and if any loosers  offer you drugs, keep away from them.

No one I know in Newcastle does drugs. Even if I wanted to do them, I couldnt. I am SO broke it's not funny. I have 3 overdue parking fines to pay for dammit! Yeah well have fun at the game. I feel more confident for the Knights as well, I REALLY hope they beat them!
