Witt has a lot of talent. It's not his fault the side is performing poorly this year. Some people are using him as a scapegoat but I think that is unfair. He's still young and has a big future ahead of him.

How's Thormans Win/Loss record in first grade????

Played against Cowboys, Melbourne, Dragons, Tigers and then Warriors.

Played 5, won 0, lost 5. A bit like Steve Crouch last year.

 Hello, you have got to be kidding me right! Thorman has not one a game in first grade

But he's a better player than 20 year old M Witt!

Parra Fan just for the record going into these games did you think we should have won them? and how many points would we be on now if we had?

By the way love the resemblence with Crouch !

very well written freak, my sentiments exactely. witty takes evry game to heart, thats kinda what i love about him. He isn't afraid to take the pressure on himself, and if it doesn't pull off, he'll play twice as hard until he's made up for it.
plays a solid game in disgusting conditions without the support of a go forward pack!!
a much as i love to defend the boys, the warriors forwards looked like superstars compared to us.. and they are coming last. Witty did his best, and looked dangerous when he ran the ball, he always does! yet... he doen't do it that often??

as a halfback he will always cop the critisicism(sp) i guess.. but he'll make it, and when he's one of the top halfbacks in the game (it will happen!!!!) some of us will say we always knew it!!

Yeah, sometimes when they show the Eels in the dressing room before the game, Witty is usually there trying to rev up the players. He's very passionate.

gee, interesting to see what happened when Witt was "allowed" to play halfback and run the game.....wasn't it.....

So what happens now?
Preferably, I'd love to see Witt at 7 with Dykes at 6. That is a great halves combination.

But what about this young Smith bloke?
