This thread is weird. Which backrowers aren't athletic? fmd I'm sure 90% of backrowers these days are more athletic than Bob Lindner.
Thierry Henry said:iirc they did that "fastest player at each club" thing in RLW in 2004, Gallen, Hoffman, Watmough and SBW come to mind as backrowers who run 40m in under 5 seconds. SBW was actually the fastest player at the Bulldogs at the time including both backs and forwards (and that was their 2004 premiership winning team).
Here's ten off the top:Max Power said:Like Luke Stuart?
agree with you 100% bazalBazal said:Okaaaayy...."Who are the athletic backrowers? BTW don't name the most athletic of the lot" That's pretty dumb....and what is athletic anyway? Hindmarsh is athletic because he goes all game and never quits...SBW is athletic because he runs almost like a back. Different kinds of athleticism...
Anyway regardless, Hindmarsh is far and away the best, goes all day, and sometimes all day the next day. Luke O'Donnell is another...Ryan Hoffman, Dallas Johnson, SBW, Feleti Mateo, Glenn Morrison (although he's not in the NRL obviously) Paul Gallen, Lance Thomson...the list could go on and on

Except when he's coached by Murray. :xBazal said:Okaaaayy...."Who are the athletic backrowers? BTW don't name the most athletic of the lot" That's pretty dumb....and what is athletic anyway? Hindmarsh is athletic because he goes all game and never quits...
