Half of the players named in this thread are slow, and unathletic.
IMO. Menzies, Sonny bill, Feleti Mateo, Corey Patterson, Tom Learoyd Lars, Gavin Cooper are all "athletic" back-rowers.

Menzies and Creagh - proper athletic, running back-rowers.

Not enough of these players imo. Too many Hindmarsh's, Ryans's, etc. Just slow and not very mobile.

Fitzgibbon circa 2001-2004 was in that mould. Regularly 15+ hitups, 30+ tackles.

what a dick, i dont know if its been mentioned... but how can you ask the question, and say dont mention N Hindmarsh. Its like asking, who's Australia's greatest leggie of all time, and dont mention Warne. Sure you could say Grimmett, O Reilly, Benaud etc, but you should have the option of arguably the best...
