Hey ladies and gents... another poor Parra supporter new to LU. The more of us the more shoulders to cry on aye? haha

I'm not too underwhelmed with the team named, obviously no Hayne/Hoppa is a bit disappointing as I think with those two we could of given the whole thing a real shake. In saying that I do see the positive of not risking them in a micky-mouse tournament before their main assignment, that of dragging our sorry a**es of the bottom of the table.

I heard Arthur on radio a couple of weeks ago and he stated he was splitting the main squad into two, one going to NT and the other to NZ. Obviously he has changed his mind on this as a fair few of the boys are backing up. Am excited to see how Chrissy Sandow goes, think he will be in his element.

I think in general the squad is lacking a bit of sheer pace outwide, but that's more a fact of our squad in general unfortunately.

That is probably the sweetest welcoming a newcomer could possibly receive. :D

Yeah, it'd be good if we had at least one winger who was strong enough to demand a starting position.

I reckon Sio would have to be the favourite for one spot.
I'd imagine Morgan's done enough to stay in the first choice backline, albeit in a wing spot?

With Hoppa and presumably Tonga (if fit) being first choice centres, we'd be silly to ignore Morgan in favour of untried wingers or inferior choices like Raradrara....

And what's with the Tele Nines analysis making Evander Cummins a notable omission from our Auckland squad? I had to google the guy, and he hasn't even played first grade yet... and won't push Hayne out of fullback spot come regular season.

Perhaps he is a 9s specialist.
