Yep, Ponga was the highlight of the 9's from our perspective. Geez I hope he doesn't try to backflip our deal at some point.

Sure, and he's good enough already to make an impact for them this year. They don't have too many more years of premiership window, imo.

Paul Green just had a whinge to the media a few weeks ago about clubs trying to get players to break contracts, which is exactly what they would be doing. Would be quite hypocritical.

I don't think it will be a problem though. Everything I've read seems to suggest he and his family can't wait to get down here.

I've seen quotes from him saying he's keen to learn more from JT and the likes this year, but I think the club hadn't treated him well so he'll be happy to leave.

Nah, they would turn it around and say they are not asking for him to break anything, he is.

Anyway, that's all politics. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
