Doesn't change the fact many of our players are visibly a class below. You'd probably be able to call it if they went out and played croquet.
Tbf, it's our Reggie players that have been terrible

Aside from Lamb, our FGers like Ross, Levi, Buhrer, Sio and Barnett have been decent to great

Hopefully Barnett has got the kicking out of his system before the season proper.

Lamb and Levi in particular have shown they give us reason for excitement. Add Ponga and we are starting to get a spine capable of putting on points.

Would have been interesting seeing Sione going around today. I think he would have caused all sorts of problems in attack.

Only saw the Bronos-Knights game and boy was Lamb and Feeney poor. Lamb made dumb decisions, particularly with his kicking game and Feeney was garbage at every turn. I'm still confused at the fuss made about Feeney, I haven't seen anything resembling a potential first grade player.

I thought Ross played well in the match, he kept poking his nose through and made good decisions.

I couldn't agree more with all of this. I made a comment about Feeney's speed (lack of) and athleticism last season and was nearly stoned to death. I still can't see anything different to what he produced in a few games in firsts last year. Maybe he's put a bit of size on, but that's about it.

I'm not sure why some keep referring to 'wrist slashing' and 'razors' in here. We all know what the 9's is about and none of us would be deriding the season ahead because of Feeney and a few other poor performers. Well, not yet anyway.

Chill out a bit gents.

I'd be suprised to see feeney get a run this season. Lamb, cogger and kostjaysn would all be ahead of him maybe even pearsall too.

Pearsall is even worse than Feeney.

Feeney looks like he sorta understands what he should be doing, he just can never make it work. The game is too fast for him at NRL level.

If we get a full season out of Ponga, Levi and Lamb in 2018, we might surprise. If we are relying on backups, we will fall apart quick.

Having said that, 2017 is going to be fun in a perverse sort of way. We will be underdogs every game, probably lose almost every one, but we will see some big improvements.
