The Warriors have drawn the Raiders, Sea Eagles and Cowboys in the first NRL Auckland Nines to be held at Eden Park next February.
Those four teams are in Pool A of the tournament that will began at 1pm on Saturday, February 15.
The Rooster, Eels, Broncos and the Bulldogs fill the second pool, while the Sharks, Knights, Tigers and Titans are in the third.
The final pool shapes as the toughest with the Storm taking on the Panthers, Rabbitohs and Dragons.
The Sharks and Knights will open the tournament while the Warriors start their campaign against the Raiders at 2.25pm on February 15.
"I like the chances of the Warriors being one of the two sides to advance from their pool," Warriors legend, club centurion and former skipper Monty Betham, said.
"The clubs with the great rugby league tradition aren't necessarily going to be great at Nines.
"Manly will be difficult and the Cowboys have some real talent but the Raiders are from the Land of the Giants - big powerful forwards aren't going to get it done in Nines."
The clubs will compete for a New Zealand record $2.6 million in prizemoney.
The NRL's 16 clubs have all guaranteed at least one top five player from each of the club's salary cap. They will play in Auckland alongside at least 12 of each club's top 25 salary capped players.
The draw was made by Auckland mayor Len Brown and Knights forward Willie Mason at Dick Smith's at Sylvia Park this morning. Dick Smith was named as the tournament sponsors today.

If hoteliers, airlines, and the hospitality trade in general try to screw over anyone coming to Auckland for the nines, they will be the reason it fails not the product....we saw it with the Hamilton V8's.

Tried to buy a couple tickets in the cheapest two categories and there were none available which must be a good sign.

and here are the host clubs (no Mt Albert or Northcote ???)

The NRL's intention to up its profile in New Zealand has taken a step forward with a ground-breaking "grass roots" initiative around the Auckland Nines tournament.
Auckland mayor Len Brown took a welcome break from politics yesterday to announce the community plan involving all 16 NRL clubs partnering up with Auckland Rugby League clubs for the inaugural tournament at Eden Park on February 15-16.
The mayor revealed a schedule which sees the Gold Coast Titans travelling to the Hibiscus Coast Raiders in the north, the Canterbury Bulldogs to the Pakuranga Jaguars in the east, the Melbourne Storm to the Manurewa Marlins in the south and the North Queensland Cowboys to the Glenora Bears in the west.
The teams competing in the Nines will visit their club during the week of the event.
League ambassador Sir Peter Leitch was happy to learn Ivan Cleary's Penrith Panthers had been chosen as the NRL club to visit his Mangere East Hawks. The Panthers have a host of New Zealand players in their ranks including new signing Elijah Taylor plus Lewis Brown, Isaac John and Dean Whare.
The Storm's trip to the southern-most club chosen for the initiative means Manurewa juniors Jesse and Kenny Bromwich could return to their old club.
The Warruiors have been paired with Marist Saints club which has produced several club players including Motu Tony, Jerome Ropati, Sonny Bill Williams and Roy Asotasi.
This year's NRL champions the Roosters have been paired with their Auckland counterparts at Te Atatu.
"To have the stars of our game at local league grounds is huge for grass roots rugby league and I know the clubs want to provide a unique experience for each team," ARL chairman Dene Biddlecombe said.
Rachael Carroll, the general manager destination and marketing for ATEED (the Super City's events arm), said the Nines would drive huge economic benefits for the city and "become an economic anchor over time".

Don't let the temperature fool you. Having lived in both countries I can tell you it gets a lot more humid here. It was only 24° here yesterday yet very uncomfortable.
