its silly things...theres a couple of families having a tiff. sadly both are aligned with the hawks, so none of the players are keen on playing with each other at the mo. some really good players too, just sitting on the sideline being all stubborn and staunch.

Try fest in all grades! Beats watching watching a 1st five or fullback win a game by penalties or penalty goal shootout!

Same here DH, a cousin of mine who plays for the Tigers always sends a text to let me know how they went, and i thought he was joking. What was going on there with ECB?

Our boys came off with a hard earned win against Marist, they are a small pack this year but they were very physical.

I've seen a few games.

Northcote, Otahahu and Papakura on paper have the strongest squads.
They have lost a player of two but and have gone a signed an equally talent and credentialled player to fill the gap.

Howick like always do plenty of work of the field to form a strong competitive squad and look to have there best team for a while.

I head east coast bays lost a few players. Hence drop in form so far.

I think early they are the teams to beat so far.

Also good to see some of the nyc boys gearing up for there respective clubs.
Neecrom Areatii who won sharman at like 15/16s year old played 80mins at prop for Manurewa on weekend.

I remember that well..

unfortunately i do too mate. that was the year i was chairman of the club. i felt like we as a commitee had failed the boys, after all the hard work the put in on the field.

good to see they are on the improve though, on & off the field.

cheers dazza
