Ive been hearing a lot people are attending this game, even non League supporters. Anyone know how many tickets have been sold?

I get the feeling we might get around 30,000-40,000, if not more. How good would that be, even better if we sell the joint out.

Looking forward to it, should be a good game, as well as a good atmosphere.

Checked the ticketek website yesterday, looks like you can still get tickets on the 20 metre line. So there's still plenty of work to be done. I haven't seen any direct marketing for this game yet. Let's hope they don't leave it to the last week and the kiwis don't put a cricket score on them in Wellington.

When the games start on the weekend there will be another surge in ticket purchases as people start to get exposed to international RL.

I got a ticket smack bang on halfway but it turns out I can't go due to a golf weekend. Will be at all the other games in Oz though. I think they'll get 35k to the this game.

Surely 50K wouldn't be out of the question? IMO 45K will be at Suncorp for the game against the Poms, so I hope Sydney can get a similar result.

The Sydney game is at Aussie Stadium so 50K is out of the question. The capacity is about 40k.

Watching the A League game on tv on Sunday , I noticed they are changing the gradient of seats on the Eastern side between the two 20 metre lines. Hopefully that will be complete by the Sydney tri nations game. Apparently they've already added a few thousand seats to the capacity by doing this to other parts of the ground.

If it is complete by then, the capacity would be 45k+ I'd say.

My mate got tickets when they first came out... A couple of weeks ago tickets in groups of 3 and 4 tickets were still available on the 50m line... Today the best is on the 20m line... Let's hope a big crowd turns out!!!!

Just having a look at Aus Bahrain now, its really hard to see how they will increase it by any real significant amount, the fence dont seem any closer to the field.....are the seats closer to the fence a lower angle, like SCG>?

They are increasing capacity by 3,000. 900 seats have already been added to the top tiers of the stand by installing an addition two rows to the front of the stand. 2,100 extra seats are being progressively added by adding up to three rows to the eastern and western ends and five rows to southern and northern ends. Basically they're removing about ten rows, reducing the gradient a little and adding extra rows on the front.

They're also adding an extra video screen (at the opposite end to the existing screen) and providing additional food, beverage and toilet facilities.
