Many people have critisised other people's squads on this forum, so I would like to see who everyone would use.
This poll is for the bowlers, please only choose five from the list.
The list is:
Andrew McDonald
Brad Hogg
Brett Lee
Mitchell Johnson

Nathan Hauritz
Stuart Clark
Glenn McGrath
Daniel Cullen
Nathan Bracken
Shaun Tait
Shane Harwood
Ben Hilfenhaus

Mine are in bold.

Batsman, Wicket Keepers and All-Rounders polls are coming in 3, 6 and 9 days respectively.

I am starting to change my mind on my vote. I've been swept up in the Hilfenhaus love, and forgot the Hogg love. I don't think Hogg will have a place in my World Cup XI, but I still want him in the squad just in case we do play on a big turner. Hilfenhaus (as impressive as his international debuts have been) is still (at best) our 5th best fast bowling option in my opinion.

Mick wasnt in the 30-man squad, either was Dizzy and Whitey will be in the all-rounders.

Being a currently in-form lower order batsman and a good fielder does not qualify a player as an all rounder.

I cant believe bracken doesnt have a 100% vote , he is an absolute star with the white ball.

He is better than mcgrath and lee in virtually every category , except mcgrath has a better economy rate. ( and obviously wickets taken)

bracken's stats , average. 20.5 , strike rate 28 economy 4.36 , book it in he's going to the world cup.

I'd say Lee, McGrath, Hogg and Bracken are certainties.

I'd like to see Tait, Hilfenhaus and Johnson get a few games, alongside Cullen. But realistically...:?

so a List A bowling average of 35 and a strike rate of 39 (similar to Andrew Symonds) doesn't make him an all-rounder?

good question this one. we do have some depth.

Hogg is on the outer with Symonds, White and Clarke putting all pace in and no specialist spinner.

I think it rests with Watson's fittness.

They are the 5 i picked for the same reason.

We will have 3 certainties, Binga, Pidge & Bracks. The final bowling spot will be a tussle between the other two bowlers we bring - a spinner & a quickie - whoever plays decided on the pitch along with the allrounders played (Watson plays - Hogg, White plays, Johnson, both or neither play - decide on pitch). For the spinners spot, i assume Hogg will take it as his fielding & batting have him ahead of Cullen & Hauritz, plus he is a proven performer. For the extra paceman, it will either be Tait, Johnson or Hilfy based on form.

If Watson plays, then so will Hogg.
Else, they will pick a fourth quick and let Symo, Clarke, and White do the part time thing.
But I would ultimately have both Hogg and White in my starting XI.

Watson and White as the all-rounders

McGrath, Pigeon, Bracken, Lee and Johnson as the seamers

Brad Hogg as the spinner.

I could have sworn Mcgrath and Pidgeon were the same person.

I'd have McGrath, Bracken, Lee, Johnson, Clark and Hogg.
