I was wondering if someone could give me a run down on the Aussies/Kiwis currently playing in the French Elite competition and which club they play for. These are the players that I'm aware of but I'm sure there are more.

Chris Beattie, Dean Bosnich, Sean Rudder, Justin Murphy, Matt Bickerstaff (Pia)

Brian Jellick and James Wynne????????

didnt think there was that many...thats a tad disssapointing

It's no suprise. You'll find players produced under the Australian RL systems in every major Rugby (Both codes) competition in the world. The NSWRL and QRL junior systems are without peer in the world.

Yeah a few of those players are back in Australia, apparently a few of the teams are falling to pieces both on and off the field over there. Shame after so much good news coming from France in the past 6 months.

Throw in Dane O'Donnell for Lyon, he went across this season from Newtown.

What T-Ba has said is correct, the level of talent produced by Australia is amazing, its indicative of our sporting culture.

Carcassonne players Andrew Beattie and David Letele were playing with North Sydney Bears last year.

Don't quote me on it but I think he's a Kiwi who became a French citizen/carries a French passport.

I am going to quote you on it cause you are acctually correct. He became a French citizen after spending about 5 years in France. I believe he has acctually married in France as well.
