It's almost like they've not picked their best A side, to lull the opposition into a false sense of security...

Meh, probably of the opinion that the quicks in line are pretty set. NCN is quality, glad he got a run. Henriques has been in mostrous form and deserves a shot, Hastings also good and Mcdonald good.

More concerned about no proper spinner being chosen.

Also would have Burns in there, he's quality, good temprement generally.

Now lets see Tim Paine make 35, be praised for his temprement and get picked for Australia for two years

Bird has been form bowler the last year and a bit. not picked. Butterworth has been the best all rounder for a few years now. Not picked, Quniney is 31 and more a one day - 20/20 player

No Burns he's a very good young player, Khawaja started the season in good form not picked WTF is it with these blokes???

Ronny Mac he has been tried and found wanting and the overated one Paine is a lock for unknown reasons when Nevill has out performed him time and time again.

I'm suprised they didn't pick Hogg or Lee  No f**king idea.

Mate, I know your just gutted Johnson is not there either

Liam Davis did score a triple century last year and has been picked in every A team as a result.

Coulter-Nile, Hastings, Henriques, McDonald, Maxwell & Smith is a laugable bowling attack.

If Sth Africa win the toss and bat, I think they'll bat the 4 days out.

3 days :)

Wouldn't worry too much about it, the Shield game is probably a better build up since it is 4 days. No even the selectors could be that silly to call that our actual A side.

Good point in the paper today that the shield game might be a better run around for Khawaja, Burns, Cutting, Mcdermott against Clarke, Haddin and whoever we pick out of Bollinger Copeland Starc Hazlewood Cummins + O'Keefe

No Henriques or Smith puts a serious dent in our batting lineup though.
