Australia and New Zealand withdraw from RLWC

The ARU has comfimed the Wannabees Spring Tour to England, Scotland and Wales.

This fully confirms that the withdrawal from the 2021 RLWC was solely because the ARLC/ NRL Club/Gus and their NZRL lackeys just hate International Rugby league and Covoid was a convenient scapegoat. It was all about their precious 2022 season and Origin. Watch the fuss they make when 2022 RLWC rolls around...
The final cricket Test was cancelled by India so the rescheduled IPL would not be jeopardised. Australia and NZ pulled out of the World Cup so the 2022 NRL season, which they are contractually committed to provide, would not be jeopardised.

Both decisions were about money. All business decisions are about money. You go the way that pays the bills.

Yeh, well it was definitely not because of Covoid...

Wannabies and Cherry Blossoms (🤣🤣) in Japan.
All Blacks and US Eagles in US
ICC T20 WC
Wannabies onto Europe..

Kangaroos and Kiwis cowering in Covoid Taliban fear. The sport simply doesn't deserve recognition amongst all those top global sporting organisations until it can tell Vlandys/Gus/Cleary to get f***ed...

They are international based sports, they haven't been couped up like NRL and AFL players have been. The Jaguares haven't played a match for over 12 months. Oz have also had stricter lockdowns too.

It's so infuriating to see the amount of International sport going on at the moment and what could have been for our patheticallly weak sport..

Vlandys, Gould and Cleary are a menace to this great game...

I think it just shows how insular the NRL/ARLC are and are not interested in expanding the game and increasing interest beyond here and some Pacific Islands

Don't worry if the kangaroos decide to get on the plane next year and play there first game in 3 years - the NRL will have a new excuse of doom/gloom not invented yet of why they cannot go. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but i cannot see one reason they listed back then as valid now as to why the couldn't go. Shame really with things opening up now it could really have been the best.

I'll tell you the reason. Either the 2022 NRL competition would have had to start later than agreed, or it would have started with the better half of its players missing. Either way leaving the NRL liable to litigation.
