Give Samoa and Fiji access to their players and we could a performance like Samoa did in the 2014 Four Nations. 5 countries that could be competitive.
Which players are you referring to? Clubs not releasing players or players who play for NZ or Oz?

My 2016 Kangaroos
1. James Tedesco (tricky to contain)
2. Semi Radradra
3. Greg Inglis
4. Blake Ferguson (he's been centre playing at Roosters)
5. Corey Oates (edges out Dugan cos don't want players outta position and Oates is in good form)

6. Michael Morgan
7. Johnathan Thurston
8. Matt Scott
9. Josh Hodgson (bright spark outta the ruck)
10. David Shillington
11. Paul Gallen (He's versatile and similar to Papalii only Paul always delivers the go forward and my captain

12. Gavin Cooper (one of the reasons behind Cowboys success)
13. Corey Parker
Interchange:
14. Dylan Napa (mongrel/enforcer off the bench)
15. Anthony Milford (impact)
16. James Tamou
17. Luke Lewis (versatility and impact)

Oates is out of position on the right wing, he plays on the left.

Lol @ Shilo the pillow

Hodgson is English

If Gallen were to be selected it would be as a middle forward, he's not agile enough anymore to play on the edge

Napa lol

Lewis is WAYYYY past it

Thanks for your interest. It's my team and it won't be picked so you can relax lol.
Oates we can swap around shouldn't be too difficult.

Gallen valid point
Napa I've explained why, you??..again lol bit childish
Lewis he still a good utility I reckon

Mean team!

Not in the eyes of the IRLF which is where it counts

Oh so Mal Meninga must've had to pick him, or did he have a choice? Oh nah cos THAT'S what would've counted

Winger is a specialist position and switching sides is quite difficult. If you were to pick players out of position why not just stick with Dugan?

Shillington has been rubbish for years, only recently he's playing well but NOTHING to suggest a test call up over those that are available.

Napa has a tendency to go into his shell in the tough matches, he played that one good game against Souths but hasn't really been anything special. There's much better option and when there's already established players like Woods, Tamou, Scott and Gallen available, I really don't see him getting a spot.

Lewis is just old now, would be better to blood in a new utility.

Mal Meniga had the option of picking him which was well within the rules of the IRLF. Why should he not pick the best team that's available and pick all players who are recognised as Australians?

Points taken but I'd still stick with my team. I'd make the change with Oates. Woods I've overlooked but as a kiwi I've always found Shillington to trouble us cos everyone goes up a gear once they've sung the anthem. With Lewis I struggled to think of any other utility. Napa would cause hard meter eaters like Moa to hand brake or side step. I know what you saying

I'm a kiwi too and the guy who gave us a lot of trouble was David Klemmer. I would much rather have him in the side then Shillo or Napa.

Serious question, is Radradra Australian?

Neither is Tamou because $1000 to get his citizenship is a lot of money when you only earn $550k a year.
Almost fell of my chair reading it considering how much I've spent so far to only be a temporary resident. Safe to say its a lot more than $1000 and I don't earn close to $550k a year.

Just to add I'm not complaining about the cost as there will never be a shortage of people willing to pay it so fair play to the government covering the costs etc. Just a bit much when he's getting a shit load of cash to play tests for the country.

That's ridiculous. Mind you, I doubt Rangi Chase is a UK citizen either.

He probably is as he's been there long enough and he doesn't have freedom of movement like a kiwi does in Aus, so there much more of an incentive for him to do so.
Doesn't mean he should be playing for England though in my opinion.
