England have to keep hanging in there and not drop their heads despite some bad luck.

They are bowling very well here.

Bit of luck going the Aussies way, it has been a while since that has happened.
we had no luck in England

one test the first four Aussie batsmen were given out incorrectly and they had no referral system in place for that series

2 years is along time to be carried in the side though.

I don't think anybody will deny that his seniority and his one-day form has contributed to his retention.

However, calendar year 2010, excluding this innings, he's averaging 36.83 over 15 innings

Ponting by comparison averages 44.37 over 16 innings but if you take out his double hundred against the Pakistanis in Hobart, he's averaging 33.4

Someone deadset dropped a sitter when Ponting was on nothing in that match too IIRC.

if you're taking away scores v Pakistan then take away Husseys 134 not out v them too

I remember that

You dont mind the odd bad one, but we got 3 or 4 in a row at the top of the order. Cost Hughes a place in the side as well I reckon

Aussies just need to get away a few boundaries... I'd be getting forward as much as possible they pitch is dodgy... Worst Gabba test match pitch in a while.

English bowlers have bowled far better then what the Australian bowlers did,the only reason Australia will end up with a lead is due the the Unbelievable amount of luck they have received in this innings.
