what?

did you think clarke's performance was test standard?

do you think his recent offerings have been test standard?

he should've been rested.certainly because of injury but mostly due to poor form.

i definately wouldn't shut the gate on him but he needs some time out.

didn't hurt steve waugh.

Shouldn't have played this test I don't doubt it but to suggest his spot in the team is in question is a joke. Hussey has had 2 years of mediocrity while Clarke has a bad series in India and his head is on the chopping block. You are kidding yourself and so is anyone who thinks Clarke shouldn't be in the test team.

LOL there is a big difference between missing a test due to injury and being dropped for poor form. You wouldn't know that because I am guessing you bite your elbows at the dinner table and frequently piss yourself.. Why have all the geniuss all of a sudden started coming into the Cricket forum???

LOL @ the Clarke hate, he wasn't fit and shouldn't have played this test. But as soon as he has a few failures the Haters come out.

i don't hate him at all and think he's a long term test player(poss capt).with his recent form and injury he should've been rested.

that is so funny, last time I heard that I feel of my dinosaur...

Hussey has just secured his spot for another 2 years. I won't mind if he maintains this form.

Johnson and North must be in serious doubt to make it to the second test.

Bring in Dougie and Hughes, drop Watson down the order, he looks woeful against the poms opening bowlers when they have the new ball.

If Clarke's back doesn't improve, rest him and bring in Khwaja

Dear Channel 9,

Play has started at 9:48am. Yet I turn on the TV and what do I see ... some crappy segment about U2's greatest hits on some crappy, generic morning show.

You are depriving me of cricket. The Ashes no less.

You suck!

The way Australia's tail collapsed after Haddin got out proves England would have been way on top right now had Hussey been given out when plum LBW when the score was around 229

England are playing better
