I think part of your problem is that the rugby league players you have now play too much like rugby union players to offer any real benefit - even to a rugby union team.

Some fresh converts might still play enough like rugby league players to make a difference to the current miserable run of results for the Wallabies.

I really am speechless after seeing this game I have never seen our forward pack dominated so utterly .

the backs cant do anything if the forwards dont win the ball and give them good field position

Also TPN was awesome! he only played about 15 minutes but had a big impact he threw that great flick passback on the inside, actually made ground when he took the ball up, made a ton of tackles for how long he was on and his lineout throwing sure beat Cannon's.

TPN should start the next test. Dunning is rumoured to be out injuried but he should be dropped anyway. Baxter the same. Turini who? Bring in Giteau or Johannson at 12.

Why Hewat wasn't picked is beyond me...was a standout all Super 12 season yet they picked Gerrard who was ordinary.

Either way I would put Johannson over Turinui. He just ain't up to the international level.

Peter Hewat is the most overated player in Sydney Rugby. He shold and never will go anywhere near playing a test. He shows touches of brilliance but they do not compensate for his continual defensive and positional mistakes

Their scrum turned into a rolling maul.... enough said.
Our forwards got bashed. Their #1 Sheridan and #2 Thompson are what front rowers suppose to be, they scrum so well that it turns from a simple feed into a 15 metre rolling maul. Sheridan is a bullly of a runner, and Thompsons work rate is that of a flanker. If he could throw he'd be the best hooker in the world.
Our backs are good I don't think theirs anything wrong with them, it's the forwards and Gregan who need to be replaced. It looks like the youngsters are still too green to save us, which is the problem.
