so you are telling me that if australia lose all their games for the next tens years and none of them happen to play in australia then the aussies would still be the best in the world or at least equal

let GB have their win this week without the whinging. no one is claiming they are the worlds best or that they will smash Australia next week and that its the downfall of the worlds best RL side.

Well we'll never be dominated by the poms the way we have dominated them thats for sure... But I can see it becoming like the SOO if this keeps up! And while I hated watching us lose to GB this morning, that is a bloody good thing!!! If international League starts pulling 80k+ crouds then I'd certainly be willing to watch the poms bash us once or twice into our senses so we start treating internationals like the be all and end all again!

maybe australia should start financing some serious internationals over there

Seriously true there.

The Tri-Nations would draw large crowds, especially if it was held in regions like the Central Coast, Townsville and Newie!!!

Even though there will be a perception that because the Roos won the tri series will be a flop in Australia, i think it should go ahead regardless.

Play the Final in Sydney (SFS) with all other games in Townsville, Brisbane and Newcastle or atleast stadiums that can hold 25K plus.

The way things sound we may be watching the 4 nations next year with the inclusion of France, don't quote me but here is how i would run such an event.

1. GB v France at Huddersfield
2. NZ v Australia at Wellington
3. Australia v France at Townsville
4. NZ v GB at Christchurch
5. Aus v GB at Brisbane
6. NZ v France at Auckland
7. 4 Nations Final S.F.S.

Once again we are treated to a 7 game competitoin with sides required to play 1 less game, has to be a positive. The series would also be played over a 4 week period rather than the 7 that this years was played over making life easier for players and the like.

Aussies can't hide behind the 'we are made to play away' excuse because it is the Australian authorities who are refusing to stage international matches in their own back yard. Carr was moaning last week about how international matches at this time of year wouldn't be noticed back home.
Yes we would, I would be there in a second.
You poms would die playing in this kind of weather, that's the problem.
