im ok with the loss as it gives india a chance to beat australia (weakened admittedly by missing their best bowlers) in the semi, and we are shit against them in tournaments. I think we have a better chance against SA. India had a bit of an advantage today. Because of their stoush with Pakistan, all their games are in Dubai and they have worked out how to play on the wicket. We have been travelling around.
Then again i could be horribly wrong about SA. I only know 1 or 2 of their names. They must be due to tour NZ soon?

I said this elsewhere, but I was gutted that we went to Vegas. I knew we'd shit the bed and I also think it'll have an impact on our season. I'd be surprised if we're fresh and raring to go against Manly.

It hasn’t really occurred to me until reading your post, but there is a change from the NRL this season, last year the teams that went to Vegas played each other in Round 2 as well to try and keep things even travel wise

I was out last night playing trivia at the RSL and tried to avoid all the big TV screens showing the RL from the weekend. I had my back to them but they bloody reflected in from the windows I was facing!

Anyway, incredibly, the only time I caught myself looking straight at a screen the Warriors scored tries. The chances of that, eh?

Is the final in Pakistan? India won't travel there, remember. So maybe the winner of tonight's semi has to play them in the cauldron of Mumbai or Dehli?

you worried about the King Gutho factor? Almost has a newly minted Dolphins look about the team list with a bunch of vets like Holmes, Guler, Cook in the starting lineup.

I thought they were a pretty solid side last season, and they’ve been written off again this season which is right up Shane Flanagans alley, and there is also the factor of what happened with Kyle Flanagan last season which might get them up

Also have a feeling that the Dogs will be this years Broncos/Warriors and slide down the ladder
