That Meurice goes alright way too good for that lot.

Can't wait till Able Friend comes back and they clash over 1400-1600 that will be awesome.

Plod Creek straight back to England for you son

I never been a fan of John O Shea bruh, horses seem to get worse and worse under him, Sweynesse,Sarajevo,Exosphere,Bow Creek etc etc etc

Maybe im imagining that but horses with good potential don't seem to kick on for him

I thinks it's the lack of consistency with results from how his horses perform. They don't consistently run to their potential and often flop for their 'grand finals'.

I know if I back a Chris Waller horse in a race it's been set for that it will run to its max potential, obviously it doesn't mean it will win but at least I can back it confidently if I think it will.

O'Sheas horses can look outstanding one run and then look like plodders the next.

For example I backed Astern for the slipper because I thought he was the best colt, his lead up run I thought was good and with natural improvement to come he would peak on the day.

Turns up and runs like a cat with no real excuses.

Then he backs him up the next week against a spruik horse and runs back to his peak and should have won the race outright if he had a better run.

Anyways I'm not a Sheik (yet anyways) so what do I know

Don't rate O'Shea as a trainer all that much, horses don't seem to improve for him like they do for a Waller or Weir.

Weir is a freak

Took people so long to catch on to his results he was getting with averagely bred horses. Over the next 3-4 years now that he is getting support off big owners and well bred yearlings/imports he will be competitive in everything.

Weir also got a lot of Moody's most promising horses, he will dominate in Melbourne the next 3 - 5 years.

As I said, no-one was beating Chatauqua. Got 50 times the exacta with that race so it was a good day for my only bet of the day.

Lucky Bubbles is the blowout for sure, 12 months time might be the best sprinter in Honkers

Spot on..

Totally missed the break, goes 10 wide and still wins:crazy:

Strathmore $30 a place

:D He is pretty good at this sprinting rort..

The LU racing forum got dis.

100%.. If Snowden had the power O'Shea has now, then i doubt he would have left, & Godolphin would be a lot more consistent in their GF's..

Right at the end of the video you see Brett Pebble smile and give Lucky Bubbles a pat on the head as if his actions were saying "Unlucky champ you ran into a freak"

:D Yep

I think Prebble thought he was home on Lucky Bubbles when it bursted to the lead, when your horse is traveling so well you would think you were home.

Then this big f**king grey thing flies past you, think he was quite shocked that something managed to run him down.

Kitasan Black was pretty impressive winning the Spring Tenno Sho..

If it starts in the Melbourne Cup with a decent weight then it could be Delta Blues all over again..

I fell for that trap last year. Not going near a horse from Japan, etc. European stayers just relish these conditions more.

I wouldn't use last years MC as any type of form guide, the whole race was a farce.

It was but history says Delta Blues aside they don't win over here. They come from Japanese conditions and it rarely goes well.

This is coming from someone who lost a truckload in that donkey from last year.
