It was but history says Delta Blues aside they don't win over here. They come from Japanese conditions and it rarely goes well.

This is coming from someone who lost a truckload in that donkey from last year.

History actually says that they dominate when they come over..

Hana's Gold won an All Aged and she was only a Group 3 mare over there..

Real Impact won a George Ryder Stakes.. And i've probably forgot some..

And that is from the limited horses they've bought over since the EI outbreak..

Flemington was a biased goat track all last spring carnival..

The run of Amazing Kids

He's gonna make the top grade

Massive.. It nearly got put over that inside rail a couple of times..

o_O

 Can't wait to see his European progeny run around.. The colt out of Zarkava would be a 2yo now..

Good Filly this, full sis to another Oaks winner Absolutely

Worth a squillion and doesn't need to win another race..

This race hasn't had what i would call a genuine Gp1 filly win it since Tristalove..

These Adelaide "Group 1's" are that in name only IMO.. About on par with a Singapore Gp1..

Yes indeed, anyone that wins a group 1 at there 3rd start is pretty damn good :thumb

Yep, but there are Group 1 races, and "Group 1 races".. ;-)

I can't agree with you there Horrie, the great mare Invest won this race a couple of years ago. Pretty sure it was the same year Zabeelionaire won the SA Derby.

Quality animals those :sarcasm:

Delicacy and Mummify are probs the only decent South Australian Derby winners in the past 10+ years

Delicacy actually beat Werther, not bad form.

It's a racing travesty this girl never got to test herself in the East, she would have measured up imo. Allergic ran third in that race it goes alright too.
