Blazing Steel may not have actually been a Queensland horse now that i think off it,used to run up there during the winter carnival and ran a placing in the Doomben 10,000,wherever the dude was from he was one of my favs,can't quite remember if he actually was a Queenslander,im sure you dudes know who im talking about.

years ago I read the barrier trial results in the tele and Prince Trialia won by something like 20 lengths. said to me mates at the pub the next sat to back it, knowing nothing about the horse. sure enough , we all backed it , missed the start (told em he flies home, bullshit for all I knew) They all putting shit on me and lo and behold, he comes flying down the outside to win at 20`s or something. Mates thought I was a genious

Very tough race,the guns Custom Cut and Arod were not good first up,Mindurownbusiness is back on the turf for the first time in like 20 years,Fancifull Angel coming back from a Dubai campaign,Tullius is 100 years old now.

If Celestial Path can run to his 3 year old form where he was about 5 lengths of them in the Guineas he could be the outsider to mug bet on.
