Caulfield
going off it being a Good 4 downgraded to Soft 5-6 with rain forecast tomorrow (10mls)
Race 1- NO THANKS, pass.
Race 2- Currah and Diplomatic Measure EW
- Already on Currah at a massive price (20's). When the money comes for this horse it's a good sign. Into 10's. Diplomatic Measure could be anything, Poy on board with a kilo and a half claim, a nice start to the day.
Race 3- Heynington Station EW
- Impossible race, settled on one at a price that was a forgive one last start just didn't haldle the heavy going.
Race 4: Extreme Pride EW save on Arctic Shock
- Forgive Extreme Pride last start was too bad to be true, SP at $3.50 that race. There was market support for this runner that's a good guide. Arctic Shock the danger.
Race 5: Ziavera EW /Felicia WIN
- If Ziavera gets a start it's the best roughie on the whole card. Up in grade but winning form is everything.
Race 6: Hang Man
- 1 length behind the airborn Rupures is good enough for this. Best of the Day.
Race 7: Nobu EW/Nudge Bar WIN
- Probably have more on Nudge Bar as I trust it more. Nobu a very good roughie and gets in well.
Race 8: Crystal Dreamer and Never Again EW
- Impossible race, Crystal was good enough last start. Oliver jumps on Never Again and stable is flying. Two at double figures in a tough race.
Race 9: Galenus (WIN), save Beauty Supreme EW
- Glad the emergency gets a start, should be winning this. Beauty Supreme if we get in a high soft range is a massive danger at a massive price.
Randwick
Track is stated a soft 5, but I'd be shocked if it's not upgraded to a Good 4.
Race 1: Ready to Humble EW
- Hate this race, interest bet only.
Race 2: Kinloch
- If it wasn't drawn 2 I'd almost have this as an absolute bet of the card. (Quinella with Equation and Overloard)
Race 3: Longbottom and Malea Magic
- The scratching (Adelong) has hurt my tip, had that the best of the whole day. These two have drawn nicely and at least you are getting a price. The other two favourities have drawn horribly.
Race 4: Subpoened
- best of the day. Quinella with Opacity and Celestrial Falls
Race 5: Mo's Crown EW
- Masked Crusader SHOULD win but I'd rather take this one EW and it's the same price for a place anyway. Irukandjui (no2) the best blowout.
Race 6: Laure Me In and New Arrangement EW
- Can't say I'm not forgiving after Laure Me In cost me a packet last start. Good chance. New Arrangement a complete forgive last start.
Race 7: Brimham Rocks and Costello EW. Small bet on White Boots.
- Brimham is a genuine good tracker and gets it here. Huge chance. IF Costello runs in this race he's an up in grade horse but his last win was breathtaking. White Boots won't know itself carrying 54 kilos.
Race 8: Snitz. Small save on All Too Royal
- Figures don't lie, Snitz was out of this world brilliant last start. All Too Royal the wrong price should be second fav.
Race 9: Costello (if it doesn't run in race 7). Massaf and Norticus EW
- If Costello runs here it's winning and at a nice price too. Otherwise I'm looking at a NZ horse in Massaf who has some nice fresh form, and Norticus with 51.5 kilos is just in so well to not have something on it.
Morphettville
Just going to do the main races, track will be in the GOOD range.
Race 6: Excelidia and Really Discreet EW
- These two will aprreciate the rise in distance. back both for a profit.
Race 8: Moonlight Maid and Zayydani EW, WIN on Warning
- Warning finds it hard to win but at least I know it gets 2500m unlike Dalasan or Russian Camelot. Zayydani was the best run in the Oaks, 4 wide the whole trip and smashed home for 4th. Don’t love Moonlight as a horse but last run was full of merit in a weakish Derby that may be enough
Doomden
Race 8: Outback Barbie EW
Genuine first up specialist and loves the track, go safe and have some on the place. Victorem the danger.
