Best example of idiotic public holiday racing - Childs & his pathetic steers on Electric Elvis & Muirfield at Sandowner…Why does Begg persist with this imbecile???

Good little story on Kay Ying Rising.

A complete fluke it would seem.

Interesting mate thanks for posting that.

Breeding is a funny thing. When you look at it generally the best 2 and 3 year old sprinters are all by the commercial sires.

But then many of our open age sprinting horses aren’t necessarily by the gun sires. For whatever reason the random breeding just clicked. Just off the top of my head all the below grp1 winners were averagely bred:

Nature Strip
Eduardo
Overpass
Giga Kick
Hay List
Buffering
Briasa
Jimmystar
Private Eye

One factor would be the better bred sprinters with the horny pedigree pages getting hurried along to stud while Nicconi, Vancouver and Scissor Kick boys mature into good sprinting horses, snatching big slot race purses along the way.

Most horses needing to be gelded to get them to the track at all comes in to play as well. Too coltish or getting too big.

Nobody ever worries about gelding a Host or a Denman.

Tim “Cat” Clark absolutely murders the $2.70 favourite at Ascot.

Burns the poor merkin 3 wide the trip takes off on the bend and the thing is cooked by 7 lengths. Never in it.

This f**ken guy really burns my arse.
