Avignon for Superleague!!

Once Toulouse eventually get to Super LEague they would be my next bet for a french team to play in the top flight, the ground looks like a fantastic place to watch and play rugby league.
They're very passionate about their league in this part of the world and the local team are going great guns in the French Elite, if they continue playing well in this league and put on some good showings in Treize Tournoi then who knows.

Wouldn't say no, but there's still a lot of work to be done yet with Toulouse.

If it were possible, politically, for the RFL to do so I would like them to come out now and say that a French club will be given a SL Licence in 2015. Catalans have been great for the comp and another French club would add to it too. Then we could have a look at Toulouse, Avignon, and perhaps a combined Aude bid, and see who stacks up the best. I'd be happy with any of those three.

And it would also help the French national team because at the minute they are hamstrung when front line players get injured and they have to rely on guys playing in the Elite League. Even if both teams have a few imports, 36 professional French players is much better than 18. Twice as good in fact!
