In the Telegraph this morning:

DRAGONS LOSE KEY FORWARDS

" St George Illawarra have lost forwards Corey Payne (fractured eye socket) & Sam Isemonger (knee injury) for 6 weeks.

The only good news for the Dragons yesterday was that winger Wes Naiqama & prop Michael Henderson are both given a chance to play on ANZAC Day against the Sydney Roosters. "

first Paragraph ----
Trent Barrett is gone. Whether or not he goes to Wigan or another English Super League club, he won't be at the Dragons next year.
The announcement wont be made until after the Australian Test team is picked on the off chance Barrett sneaks into the squad.

Curious about the press release of 10 April:

Luke Bailey (knee) and Jason Ryles (Hand) are on track to return in Round 7.

Dean Young's long streak of consecutive games may be ending... Grade 2 charge, early plea and he'll miss just the Anzac game
Its pretty impressive. Dean Young has played 73 games in a row.

2006 (so far) - 6 (out of 6)
2005- 26 games (out of 26)
2004- 25 games (out of 25)
2003 - 22 games (out of 24)
In 2003, he missed rounds 1 and round 9.

Out of 81 games Young has missed just 2.

Incredible effort. And its not an injury which has stopped him. The whole team should find out what he's eating.
