Haha soon as I saw this lawsuit I knew it would be a rip into Axl thread. Fact of the matter is that Slash has done a very good job of turning everyone on him through the media and has even started to acknowledge lately that there is two sides to the story and that Axl's side would be just as valid, but it's too late the damage has been done really when it comes to the casual music fan. Also the fact Axl and all is other former band mates have talked and there aren't any real problems between says something.
Also don' get why people rip on Chinese Democracy, I reckon it's a pretty good album and some of the songs on there should be considered absolute classics compared to the other rubbish that comes out today. And also for the people that go on about how long it took, you can blame the numerous lawsuits and plus it's not like they only recorded one albums worth of material according to some interviews I've seen there is a good 3-4 albums worth of material recorded.
