Ayshford had lost some of that bulk which was stupidly dumped on him and slowed him down, but somehow he looks unfit and has bugger all conditioning. Makes you wonder how he lost the kegs, or what he did in the off season.
He was never a talker on the field either, but he's not saying a word out there anymore, making life impossible for his winger and inside defender.
He's still stuck in his bad habit from his last few years here, which was forced upon him, by standing back to help cover for Moltzen's f**king woeful defence inside.
he now has good defenders on his inside but still stays back too long and gets stood up everytime because he's flat footed.
In attack he has improved, to be fair, but his defence has gone downhill immensely, further than I could have ever expected.
It's a shame, because Ayshford always seemed like a dependable centre in defence and attack. he just did the simple things right, run straight lines, run hard, draw his defender, make good one on one tackles, hold his position in a sliding defence, wrap the ball up.
Now he's a mess in attack. It all comes back to when Sheens bulked him up. He has been on the rapid downhill ever since.
