yep .
I'd have him.

Plenty of experience and I am sure he would be appreciated by the young fans.

I'd take him.

He might be a goose but gee there are a lot of geese in the NRL.

What has he really done wrong. Farked up at a farked up club.

So now he has told some club directors what he thinks of them. Wonder how many players have done that.

Are these the same directors that chased and failed to get the Creepin Jesus as coach and then got Ando instead.

These the ones that booted Fitzy.

I think the Easts fans will fill us in on how incompetent their directors are.

What else has Willie done - got caught pissing in a street late at night, who hasn't had to take a leak late at night.

The big goose is a unit when fully fit and has a lot of experience with Big time games. I reckon if he fires then it will only do us good. And I believe he has a great working relationship with Sticky.

Anyhow - if we chase him and get him, then I reckon we have done worse.

He reminds me of Alex, the english speaking Sri Lankan.

He has gone from the original bloke that speaks english and can communicate with the press - great to chat too, to an alleged people smuggler, now he is a former Sri Lankan Canadian Gang Member because he assaulted some bloke in the mapple leaf. Soon he will be hiding weapons of mass destruction and next week he might even be a suspect in the JFK assasination.

I reckon we need Willie on our grassy knoll.

Cheers

Personally I don't see any draw backs on picking him up for two years.

Also if we could give Pom(who I actually like) the flick it opens up a spot for a speedier back line/real back rower on the bench which I like the idea of.

Hmmm

Easily be the biggest name player in our squad.

Depending on the knee, I'd take him and if it meant offloading the pom, all the better.

IF he can buckle down he would be a great buy, BUT, has there been anything to indicate he can?

IF he was to sign a contract saying any misdemeanors and we can send him, AND he quit drinking than I would be stoked.

As it is I dont know if he has the discipline required to regain anything like his' past form.

Happy if we sign him if Ricky is SUPER SUPER strict with him, otherwise he will lead the others astray

I have also heard that Mason will not be a shark in 2010 and we should all say arigatoo to him.

Here is the oil on the Mason story.

Ricky and Willie + Willies manager had a coffee somewhere in Cronulla. This was seen by people around cronulla and the rumour mill naturally started.

Willie was asking Ricky for a charachter reference for overseas clubs.

He is unwanted by the Sharks for the price he is asking (above 400k).

I wonder if the Roosters would be willing to pay part his contract out if he can't get a gig in Japan. I can't see him turning out for the tri-colours next year no matter what.

For 200k I think he'd be an absolute bargain.

so who seriously would take him and who dismisses the idea.
me poersonally, while toiling with the idea of not taking him, im up for it. if it means getting rid of pom and getting him fit he could be devostating. there is a bench prop with brod or verlinden.
he could do wonders or f**k us. i would take a punt on him

Mason in and Pomm out ..... why not, its worth a shot ....
