Totally agree. My favourite films of all time.

For the fact that there really isn't a weak film in the three, has to be the best trilogy of all time after Star Wars (which has the best and the worst trilogy in the one hit).

The Bourne movies would have to be up there too

When him and the doc go back to 1955 from the alternate 80s reality, they keep it behind a big billboard on the edge of town. Where the contruction site for Hillsdale is I believe.

Thats where he gets struck by lightning at the end.
They're talking about when Future Biff stole the DeLorean and went back to 1955 to meet up with Past Biff and give him the Almanac

they were.. and i believe this minor detail was omitted as it really is quite irrelevant to the plot. it's hardly a plot hole if it doesn't matter.

it was probably intentional too, get people talking about the movie

anyone remember in the old days of VHS they had those classification warnings and the scene from BTTF 3 where marty runs into mad dog and accidently calls him mad dog and they had the bit on classification warning for PG 13 i think where he goes "nobody calls me mad dog!! 'specially not some, duded up egg suckin gutter trash!!" then the mother covers the little kids ears

Yeah you are right it's not really a plot hole and most of the plot hole's I'm thinking of relate to time travel which gets way complicated. You know if Marty goes back and stops his parents from getting together how can he be there in the first place to stop them getting together sort of stuff.

It's just me over thinking things.

over thinking it is ... if lorraine and george were so struck by meeting marty in '55 and so thankful he brought them together, wouldn't it make more sense to name the first child marty instead of the fourth?

 i've always wondered that

and if doc brown did die in 1885 wouldn't he just be born again since he died before he was born?

Yeah i just tried to enjoy the movie rather than sending myself crazy.

Its pretty hard to justify a time travel movie considering the fact no one can go back into time.

and didn't it strike them as odd that their son looks exactly the same as Calvin Klein?!
i'm sure it may have struck them as odd.. however if you watch a child grow up and go through that process you really don't see them as anything but your spawn (speculative... i've never had a child, or seen it grow up). i'm sure 30 years would also dull the memories somewhat.

yes, but the doc marty knew died mere days after he wrote the note that he receives via telegram in the year 1955 (going by the date the telegram is dated and the date on docs tombstone). marty didn't want the doc he knew (i.e his doc) to die days after he claims he is going to live his days out happily in 1885.

So that wasn't a valid point I made, eh?

Ok, so you tell me!
Old Biff of the future who had a walking cane, and who could barely walk even, steals the time machine, goes back to 1955 to meet himself, now you tell me!
Where did he park that friggin' Delorian?
What's this plot hole BS you're all going on about?

A car as flashy as that and a man who could hardly walk and he takes this thing back to primitve times and conceals it somewhere locally?

Are you telling me that he parked it way out to buggery and walked back to town?

Where did futuristic Biff leave the Delorian in '55, people?

Care to explain that too me?

I guess he knew how to turn the time dials too.

So he just fly into 1955 and parked it, let's say....at the high school and hobbled to town and left it be without any worries?

Ohhhh'kayyyyyy.

I still say Mary Steenburgen would be a good root.

lol, yep, pretty much. there's no evidence to suggest that old biff was in 1955 for any longer than 30 mins - an hour. quite feasible he just left it behind some bushes somewhere close by.

What does that matter?

He only went back to Biff's house. I am sure he could have just stashed it round the corner.

Hardly a plot hole
