With the new arrivals what do you think the backline will look like?

In my opinion

coote
gordon
jennings
tighe
Purtell

Now obviously i have no idea, but i need to know for fantasy purposes lol

And in a side note got my tix for the battle of the west cup, its always a good day at penrith, hope to see you guys out there 2.

To be honest with you the only players in positions 1-5 that appear certain are Coote at Fullback, Gordon on one wing and Jennings in one of the centre positions.

The trials will determine who joins them.

That backline looks like close the only change could be Blair he will play somewhere the question is will he be in the centres or off the bench as a backrower. IMO it leaves the other wing spot up for grabs

But As Daz said only The two Mick's are guarrenteed a spot in the team. I guess trials will show more.

1. Lachlan Coote
2. Michael Gordon
3. Michael Jennings
4. Maurice Blair (here's hoping he reaches his potential in 2010)
5. Brad Tighe / Adrian Purtell

Trials can decide who gets the wing position out of Tighe and Purtell.

Not much difference in pace just Tighe can't catch. He fixes that fine play him if not Purtell gets it

Purtell is OK. I'd be happy to have Gordon in the centres to be honest. He's a gun.

Yeah Greg Waddell. He's had heaps of injuries so I really doubt we'll see him in first grade until 2011 at the earliest.
