Wow. I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to be able to hold onto that narrow lead going into the last round.

Thanks to Bubbles, LeagueNut, thickos and my fellow rookie Steel Dragon who kept me on my toes for months and gave me sleepless nights. And to Willow who didn't yell at me when I asked him yet another question! And LN, thanks for altering the marks and giving me those extra points. It was the best $6.50 I've ever spent! :lol:

Now I can collapse and watch the finals series without those recurring rugby league nightmares!

Thanks to everyone involved in running this competition, the admininistrators, refs etc., it's a great concept and I am forever astounded by the quality of writing. Everybody involved should give themselves a big clap...

Congrats to Jesbass on a lot of quality writing all year, I enjoyed reading your posts. Well done to the other place-getters as well, there's a wealth of outstanding short essays on league generated in this competition and they make for great reading.

As for playing all nine for the green machine, I'm buggered. Need an off-season to recharge the batteries
