when I was 15, I was playing with my neighbour. He bowled me out for 26, he then got the bat and scored 280 odd not out at the end of the day. He wanted to continue his innings next time we played, ( a week later) and I finished up getting him caught and bowled for 775!!

Magnificent all-round effort, 100 off 42 balls N.O., then got my friend all out for 11 (10 wickets).

I put together 280 several years ago.

Recent achievements in our much smaller backyard now include successfully chasing down 101 off 30 balls.

My neighbour is now playing baseball in the US, so he was fairly talented but still....

If Mick Lewis is ever injured i may get the call up for the bushrangers

Making the wife get the ball off the roof she hit.

Fuggen funny.

 Gold!

That 155 not out could of been anything but rain stopped play on the final day of an actual test match (5 wickets per inning). We would of played on the next dayu but their were no provisions in place for washed out days and the tri-angular limited over series started the next day. (me, my neighbour and my mate).

Also at primary school me & another bloke batted through the morning session(7.30 - 8.26) the recess session (10.00 - 10.30) and the lunch session (12.30 - 13.30) must of hit a few that day.

big rivalry with my cousins, we all cricket crazy kids. best was 100 not out in grandmas back yard. never conceded a century when bowling. Most of the time we played at the fcg (cousin lived on a farm and had some 6 foot chicken wire for our boundaries. about 50 not out was my best.

considering the pitch was plagued by goat droppings, cow pats and a lot of gremlins, that was pretty good though.

It was not uncommon to have yorkers rearing up in your face, bouncers heading straight for your crotch like a heatseeking missile, and balls that pitched 2 foot outside off stump taking leg stump!

You don't need to go to a farm to get that here - you should play my minefield of a backyard.

scored 100no (had to retire) in a 5 vs 5 a side cricket game in a double basketball court  (short boundaries, but sixes were out)

Then in their innings , bowled them all out for 1 in 2 overs :D

Didnt give them time to get their eye in on that concrete deck

Playing against my brother, I needed 7 off the last ball of, I think, a 5 over each game. There were no boundaries but the rules allowed you to hit the ball over our fence (on the leg side) and on to the neighbouring rugby field, where you could run as many as you wanted, while the fielder went through the gate and out onto the field to retrieve the ball. There were no overthrows, so as soon as the fielder threw the ball you had to stop running

Up until that point nobody had managed as many as 7, but I absolutely middled one down to fine leg, the furthest possible point for him to chase, and by the time his forlorn return was in the air I was already on my victorious 7th run

When I was 9 years old my dad and brother fielding, I managed a mighty 38 (HS at the time beating my 32) in the first innings before hitting my wickets, I was pissed off, badly, so in my next inning, I managed to make a whopping 114, with my dad bowling express to me in the 90's. I later on got the ball out of the garden and threw it over a bush and knocked the stumps down with my brother about 3 meters out.

Smashed the same neighbors window 3 times in the one week, he then threatened to kill me.

I haven't really played the hook shot since.
