You're all over reacting.
Bailey cost us a try. I'm even willing to concede that turn of events could have cost us the game. But it shouldn't have come to that. The game shouldn't have been resting on that occasion. I agree, its frustrating that the option wasn't taken, but you can't call a lynch mob on a player for that.
It's happened to plenty of players, plenty of times. And it will happen again. Be objective people: acknowledge that you're frustrated that we lost, but understand the real reason why.
Bailey is a HANDFUL for opposing teams on the fringe. You cannot deny that. Offensively he is very dangerous, but he needs to be a smarter footballer. And that's Stuey's job.
What I'd like to see, personally, is some second man play involving Bailey to give the o/s backs some more space. There's too much catch and pass and too much reliance on second phase IMO. That's fantastic when it works, but can be glaring when it doesn't. Of course, missing Kimmorley has a lot to do with that. Honestly, I got frustrated with Bails, I screamed and threw bottle tops at the tele but seriously folks, calling for his head?
It's immature, subjective and wrong.
