Bailey is a waste of space

What's disgraceful is Phil Bailey's butchering of a certain try.

Some may say that we shouldnt have been in a position whereby it even mattered, however that fact is that we WERE in that position and had he thrown that simple pass and we score, we're in the box seat to win the match with the wind at our backs.

fin is right
happened right in front of us - certain try
the horrible thing was that when i saw that big oaf bludging out in the centres (he's known for it) i knew it was going to happen

i have no idea what he was doing there
and i have no idea why he didnt just catch and pass

SS, mate, you're smarter than that..

Bails is told to attack the fringes. They want him to look to draw the fringe defenders and interest the centres to make space for our backs after the offload.

He may have cost us the game, but he's not the only one to have done that in a game of footy. I agree he's got to work on his discipline, hell i don't even like his attitude much.. but he has to be out there for us. He's one of our best thirteen.

Guys, settle down!

If this, if that...

Yes, Bailey came up with a costly error at a crucial time. So did Vagana, a couple of times. There were some dumb plays out there today, from more than one player.

What is needed is for the TEAM to have a good hard look at themselves, and focus on fixing this problem of letting in P!SSWEAK tries. It is happening too often, we put together some brilliant, ad-lib attacking tries ourselves, then HAND the opposition some easy tries on a plate. Undoes all that good work.

OK, so Bails bombed a try. Hey guys, we scored FIVE of the bastards, and as someone else mentioned, that should have been enough.

If I was Rapes, I'd be tempted to shift Matty back to Lock again at the expense of Bailey. The problem is he's doing such an excellent job at Hooker, who would wear the number 9?

Sullivan is the most obvious choice, but playing a full game would, I think, diminish the game-breaking abilities he has right now.

We score then, we win.

I dont think you can be so sure about that. There was a lot more to the loss than the bombed try. The dogs were making 80m every set of six, against the wind...they would not have been out for the count just based on bailey throwing the ball and us scoring....
sure it would have been a boost and lifted us, but the dogs arent the type of team that drop their bundle.

I personally was very pissed off with Bailey for not passing but the ragging he has copped for his game today is harsh....I thought he was getting thru a shitload of tackling...

I know he has discipline problems but geez i thought he really busted his arse for the team today.

Poor kicking with the breeze in my opinoion was the issue......we needed to turn them all around and have them work out from their line while their forwards were getting back..not being able to take a tap on the 20 after the forwards stroll back getting a breather.

thats what lost it...they should have been worn down and they werent
