That is one of the strongest Balmain first division sides I've seen.

There are few weaknesses in that side. Our only problem may be attack outwide, but with Branigan getting the ball wide and Greally always looking dangerous I can't see this side struggle for points.

Bronson is a good second rower if played outwide. It is the hit-ups up the middle that aren't a strong part of his game...yet. I think his best position is centre. When he is one on one with a defender he is going to beat the man. That sort of dominance shouldn't be tampered with.

Noah - I like him better at lock mostly because it seems to encourage him to do more with the ball and get involved in attack. He struck up a very good combination with farah last year when they moved him to lock and I'd like to see that built on.

Its a tough one though cause he is also an absolute model of what you need in a centre - either position for him suits me.

I think he's also a good backrower but I don't think it takes full advantage of his skills.

I agree with the rest of your post - its a fantastic PL side and I wish I could get out there to see them play

Oh, i've been out for a while now - finished in 2001...i only know of one football playing guy out of our year, Scott Manning - but i don't think he plays anymore

I was always jealous of Lewisham guys gettin to play league at school, and even occasionally getting on TV too :shock: ....when I went to Ashfield BHS they played union ....I suppose they still do.

Nothing wrong with playing a bit of union innsaneink - I ran around in the lower grades for a GPS side.
