Mick Harper has signed with Newcastle

Well with him working with Tilse it will be a big forward pack thats for sure - I thought that Balmain had a prefrence for letting Hunter go over Harper anyway to the knights but I didn't take much notice of it because I was told both will probably be staying ????

Anyway I guess that means I might have a soft spot for the Knights now :evil:

:lol: I may have been misinformed about Harper in that I flat out lied. I don't know what's happened to him but if he is not in Balmain's line up then A) He's playing for one of the other 14 clubs in the NRL which could possibly by Newcastle or B) He's gone straight into the Wests Tigers 25 man squad bypassing premier league. I'd say the former is more likely however unless he's got homesick but I don't remember even if he's a country lad.

Well where has he gone???Who can get to the bottom of it???The same with Nathan McMahon from the Magpies.He is a promising young winger who played Premier League above his age,but isn`t included in the Magpies sides for next season.And where will Brett Kelly head???

Julian Inoka- from Newtown only 18 but has played Bartercard cup, Premier League and JBC. Has a lot to learn but does have talent and hard to pull down. Needs to concentrate on footy not partying.

Joab Hull- Hooker from my home town of Coonabarabran father was a quality country footballer and he has a lot of his attributes especially towards training.

Thats all I know of.

Just a couple of quick updates on Balmain PL squad (BRET).

Brock Hunter has returned home & at this stage won't be playing next season.
Andrew Henderson has just signed a 2 yr deal with Castleford Tigers starting next season, so he won't be captaining the BRETs in 2005.

Looking forward to watching the progress of summer training & seeing how the new recruits start to fit in.

Bring on Ulladulla!!!!!!!!!!

Mick Harper has been signed by North Sydney Bears, also Joel Rawlins is returning to the Bears.

I'm pleased to read how well you rate Harper. Do you have any other info on either of these players?
