LOL! I thought he left Easts? This is the thing with Braith. He may have been doing the little things but for the huge salary he was supposedly on we would have rather he was doing the big things and winning us some games. In the 7 years he spent at the chooks we made the finals twice, one of those being 2010 when he was shifted out of the halves. So for he other 6 years when he was the the big marquee guy and main playmaker we made the finals once.
Braith seemed to specialise in doing....nothing really. Match stats of like 2 runs for 5 metres and 2 tackles were common. There were also plenty of rumours of tantys and falling out with coaches when they tried to move him out of the halves.
So most likely he'll be a rubbish no 6 for you or a backrower with a bad attitude who wants to be no 6.
Good luck.
This is his best play by far... http://video.dailytelegraph.com.au/2332063654/SuperCoach-ad-Braiths-BattleBraith in the back row is a good signing. I like him at lock where he gives us another ball playing option taking heat of Benji who will be nursing a young half through the season. Anasta isn't signed to be a workhorse in the Hindmarsh or Myles mould. Let's not kid ourselves. You have Robbie Farrah coming off a career best year in my opinion with Marshall and Anasta either side of him to start an attacking raid. I see no problem here.
Unfortunately there are some players, coaches and officials that just don't win with NRL fans. Braith is one of them.
Anasta's work rate is definitely not his strong point as a backrower.
We have BMM and Thompson who I rate, there are a couple of TC players from last year who could surprise as wellThis is what concerns me; our backrow consists of two players notorious for their lackadaisical nature on the field in Blair and anasta and then a worker in a winger's body in Fulton. That said, I'm reasonably confident that potter will be able to rectify the attitude problem with the former.
