I'd like to know why the NRL sat on their hands and didnt renew BB's contract when he signed with us? Why shoot yourself in the foot and lose a star player of his quality to yawnion? OK it's a loss for our club and you could tinfoil hat the shyte out of it but surely he was a drawcard to the sport in which they the NRL supposedly "run"

f**king wankers.

They agreed to Cronulla advancing Baba his contract money last week, they agreed to let him train at the Club, things were all looking positive. If Barba just waited, it would've all been worked out before Rd 1 I bet.

How the Orr brothers convinced Barbs that this deal is in his best interests is absolutely beyond me.

French Union. While the prospect sounds tantalising, Toulon are a powerhouse club that expects results and an immediate return on their investment. A new code in a non English speaking country (does his family go? either way he is f**ked his Mrs will hate it there or she stays and battles without him) that he has precisely zero experience playing.

He will go off the rails again because he will be miserable, lonely and under pressure in France. His best play was to serve the suspension, play well and look elsewhere for big dollars beyond his contract.

So what time do you think they would actually click the stopwatch on his suspension? The NRL are f**king morons, and they have an agenda that leans to the advantage to certain clubs and we're not one of those clubs. Now they have shot themselves in the foot in my book, admittedly BB's decision is a flippant one to say the least.

The onus is on the NRL to try and keep it's stars from jumping ship.

Oh, they are 100% idiots. They were adamant that WCC and the 9's wouldn't count toward the suspension so they wouldn't have approved the contract until just before Rd. 1.

It certainly is in the orrs best interests.

Big bucks for benny and a very handsome increase for their other client Humphrey.

Good luck to humph, but do you really think the orrs have done the best for barba here? Do you think they've acted in his best interests or sold him down the river for a quick buck? I think Frank nailed it.

I dunno, 2.5m for Barba seems a pretty good deal don't you think?
