Pretty sad end really - though he will always be a Cronulla premiership player and I thank him for that. Get the feeling this makes it a lot harder for us to be a top 4 team next year. We have now lost 2 of our premiership spine and arguably the two most important.
I know Holmes can go straight to fullback but it will take him time to learn the role - especially the defensive side where barba was so good and we lose the player with the most try assists.
I think we need a experienced hooker to play 60 minutes a game for us - with brailey playing 20 odd minutes each side of half time.
Kal the big 4 for mine last year were Ennis, Barba, Maloney and Fifita.
We've lost Ennis for sure and very doubtful on Barba.
We'll do well to make the 8.
