With regards to saying it's not worth a Grand Final suspension ... Maybe you can look at it like that, or on the other hand, you can look at it from the angle that Hall, the captain of his club, in a Preliminary Final, punched a bloke - whatever punishment he would get would be deserved purely due to his own stupidity.
In saying that, even if the Tribunal do pull a shock and actually treat him the same as every other player in the League.... Expect Sydney to cheat once again, as they did 10 years ago by waltzing into court and launching an appeal that won't be heard until after the Grand Final.......
Hall will play in the Grand Final.

It's no different to the Gherig incident. If he is not given the same penalty, the AFL may as well pack up shop.
Where is the incentive for clubs like Richmond to run out onto the park, when they are not competing in a level playing field?
