There was a thread in the NFL forum about football movies a while back, so I thought I'd start one for basketball. Especially since my basketball books thread has been such a hit.

What's your favourite basketball movie? I want to see Coach Carter, but haven't got to it yet.

I guess Hoosiers is my favourite, but I don't like it as much now after repeated viewings as I did when it came out.

I have Space Jam, Hoosiers, Above the Rim, Jordan to the Max, The Perth Wildcats history and the Ultimate Jordan collection on its way.

hoop dreams is my fav. Not sure if it classifies as a movie, but it went for 3 hrs or so and follows the dreams of 2 college players and their NBA aspirations. It highlights the issues facing young men.

yeah that is a great documentary loved it they should do another one I reckon
