One thing. Hynes is not our best or longest kicker. Tricky clearly is. So why the f**k does nicho kick for touch? Shouldn’t happen.

Well one has to do something tangible for a million bucks. Probably should have been a "do it well" clause in the contract though

We got beat by a way better team.
They were methodical, I couldn't help but be impressed by their game.
There are levels in this competition, the Storm and Panthers play at a different level.
The scoreline doesn't reflect it but we are 5-10% behind them.

I cannot blame individual players for that loss, I can however point out that Rudolf in the first half caused some loss of big points, and Katoa has more than a few brain farts every game.
Nicho came to us as a $600k player, he's now a $1M player, time to earn that pay lad, really.

But in all honesty, they were just really f$%king great.

The Storm are not a way better team than us.

The Panthers yes but not the Storm.

The Storm are very beatable and we made it so easy for them.

We did not give ourselves a chance.

We gave away stupid penalties and made stupid errors and that gave the Storm the important field position and good teams punish you.

If we could have put some score board pressure on them we would’ve had a great chance. They don’t play half as well from behind but are bloody hard to beat as front runners.

If Nicho is not fit physically or mentally he shouldn’t be in the team. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt from last week but he showed no urgency or control today for his inflated price tag. The missed kick for touch was a shocker. But that’s what happens when you’re half arsed. DA and Trindall are our best and inform halves pairing at the moment. The players know it too. Fitzy probably knows it too but the problem is it’s too controversial to leave him out.

We have some brilliant individuals but they are being let down by the lack of direction with our play. FFS Fitzy let Trindall run everything and just let Nicho be the passenger if you’re not going to put DA in the starting side. At least there would be more fluency with the team. But DA & Trindall would’ve given us a better chance today for sure.

All the 1% we didn’t do well. Kick chase abysmal . Ruck defence abysmal. Kicking game from Nicho abysmal. Intensity in defence abysmal. Intention to attack bombs in defence abysmal. Lying on the ground and not running back to get into the defensive line ( cough cough) Tinkerbell abysmal.

Sort it out Fitzy.
