Here are the hard facts from yesterday’s game:

1. Storm are in another dimension compared to us as are the Panthers.
2. Ramien’s omission hurt us more than we thought.
3. Nicho is nowhere near the player he once was but won’t be dropped.
4. Trindall is easily our best half at the moment.
5. Too many silly penalties, many on tackle 4 or 5 killed us.
6. Refereeing at times was terrible but we have to rise above that. We do this by playing more high tempo, yesterday we were slow and flat.

I was looking for 7 sporting wins this weekend and at this stage I’m going to be none from four. Here is what I was hoping would happen:

1. NRLW - lost to Broncos 20-16
2. My son’s Under 16s cricket, lost by 110 runs in a 30 overs game
3. NRL - lost to Storm 37-10
4. Min Woo Lee to win the PGA Tour event in California. Round 4 is still to come but after a horror 3rd round he’s 12 strokes behind.
5. Jersey Flegg Sharks, still hopeful for this one.
6. NSW Cup Jets, fingers crossed for this one too.
7. My English football club West Brom v Portsmouth at midnight tonight.
