The Heat are absolute dogshit. Renegades aren't much better. Maybe it's time CA reflect on the franchise system and resort back to the state system. It prevents woeful players being featured on TV, it reduces the schedule (would be 10 games home & away) which allows teams to travel around the state to host games, and idk, makes it more exciting than watching a side collapse like the local 3rd grade on a Saturday morning cos they want to get down the pub to get on the piss.

Or maybe they should dock teams points when they lose so you don't get garbage being in contention of a finals position. Lose a match and you lose 3 points. Get whipped and you lose a bonus point.

It's been something that has been happening for several seasons with both the Heat and Renegades though these batting collapses. They certainly don't have much luck with signing the right overseas players or Domestic players for that matter.

They need to look at the squads of some of the top teams and sign some of their players who are not regular players but are good when they do play - incentive of regular game time may get them to sign.
