Highlights of that list are Grinspoon, JBT and Little Birdy.

Wouldn't shell out $100 to see a trio of local artists though.

I'll be going for System of a Down, Grinspoon, Powderfinger, Chemical Brothers, Beastie Boys, The Streets, and JBT. Would be good to see a decent headliner or two added though.

f**k...... What a dissapointing lineup after last year which had so many great bands IMO. Although there are 2 announcements left, they'd have to be some pretty damn good bands to make me fork out $110 for that crap.

The only 2 bands I would want to see are SOAD and The Music and I've grown off them in the last couple of years.

Looks like it will be Powderfinger and the Beastie Boys headlining the main stage. I shant be there it seems!

I dunno whether I should fork out the $130 for three local acts I could probably see all their concerts for the same price.

Powderfinger - $70
JBT - Saw him for $45 at the Hordern a few months back
Grinners - Can't see them untill Feburary (18th b'day) but tix for RSL/club gigs are $20-25.

A bit more expensive but they would all play 2 hour+ sets compared to the hour or so they will play at BDO...

hmmm

SOAD is enough for me they are one of the most talented writers in music and are awsome

meh I don't rate SOAD (SOAD lovers don't kill me)..

Aerials is a top song however.

f**ken crap lineup, just like this years(Metallica the only good band but i went to their own show instead).
Wish i was 15 in 2003, that lineup owned.

I'd go just for System of a Down and the Chemical Brothers. Both acts put on a good show. Love most everything System have done (particularly X and Aerials).

Would be good to see some punk on there, and maybe one or two big names. Would be awesome to get a few alternative laid back artists. Jack Johnson would be cool, just for the lounge factor.

Last year had Metallica, The Mars Volta, Poison the Well, Muse, The Datsuns, The Darkness, Fear Factory (and A Perfect Circle were announced but pulled out). This year is nothing like last year's. The second announcement is probably the only hope for some more good bands, as the 3rd is usually just local Lilypad bands and DJs.

Shit, I'd be keen if they could get APC there as well. I'm still pissed about missing The Darkness. I'd only just started to get into them last time BDO was on.
