A lot of people are saying they only like one band etc etc, and some of us crazy cats will be going to every show they can. So spread the word in this thread. If anyone has news on Kings of Leon or Common shows I will be your best friend. First off the rank, headliners The White Stripes. Tickets on sale tomorrow.

I have Mudvayne's debut album and it's far from terrible but at the end of the day the nu-metal sound just sh*ts me to tears.

Mike, Common is at the Metro on the 25th of Jan, same night I'm afraid. You MAY get lucky, if the White Stripes sells out extraordinarily quickly, they will put on another show.

The Magic Numbers are at the Metro on the 27th and M.I.A is at the same venue on the 28th.

In case there is no second show, I had to weigh up the Stripes and Common, and because I've already seen the Stripes twice, and Common never, I chose Common. But I went to buy tickets on the Metro website and his show is not on sale ffs! Fair enough, perhaps tickets haven't been sold yet, but they haven't advised when they will be on sale. Totally frustrating tbh. I got tix to the Go Team though, and KOL is budgeted for next week yeeeah. Sorry I can't join you at M.I.A dudes.

I gave the Metro a call because their website suxxx, and the Common show is on sale next Friday. No word yet on a second Stripes show, but I think the fact that they are playing at the giant woolshed Hordern greatly reduces my chances.

Get your KOL tix SS and guy? Had a productive morning over here, on the phone to Metro for Common and on the web for KOL. Multi-tasking at its finest, imo.

But yeah, with The Strokes - their set is tight, although it just sounds like you’re listening to the CD at your flat. There’s not a lot of passion…
